Orderly book, 1775-1776.

Orderly book, 27 August, 1775 - February 14, 1776, probably kept by Thomas Lenington. First page, dated Albany, August 27, 1775, is a statement of intent to keep a journal of the campaign. The remainder is an orderly book, containing mostly headquarters orders dated from Ticonderoga, Montreal, "before Quebec," Froys near Quebec, and Hollands house. There are a few notes of receipts by Thomas Lenington on the final page, as well as some copy-book maxims and a patriotic poem on other unused pages.
